Looking for a great Windows terminal.

Hello everyone...

I'm looking for recommendations on a good Windows terminal. I use Windows 10 and typically open a virtual machine running Ubuntu Mate. That's all good and I really like the terminal in that environment. (Byobu and Oh-my-Zsh FTW.)

I cannot change completely to Linux at the moment. When I just need to SSH to another host, I'll open up Git Bash on Windows and it's tolerable, but just barely. (Things like cutting and pasting using Ctrl+Ins and Shiht+Ins drive me nuts, when Ubuntu Mate handles it so gracefully with Ctrl+Shift+c and Ctrl+Shift+v.)

I tried the Ubuntu for Windows thing, but I found that terminal to be unusable.

Powershell seems OK for doing Windows stuff, but I feel like there may be some better option out there. Thoughts?

Thank you!

Re: Looking for a great Windows terminal.

For Windows, I think the best shell to learn is PowerShell.

At the botton of the PowerShell links page are a few alternative consoles, conemu, console2 etc, one of those may be what you are looking for.
