"When they kick at your front door..."

I just wanted to point out that the song quoted for the SQL triggers pages is from "The Guns Of Brixton" and not "London Calling".

Right band, right album, wrong track smile

Feel free to ignore this post if you already knew this.

Re: "When they kick at your front door..."

Oh the reference was to the name of the Album not the song of the same name.

"The Guns Of Brixton" wasnt released as a single, so I thought the album name would be a more useful reference point. Anyway I added both now for the avoidance of doubt.

Re: "When they kick at your front door..."

Fair enough. I wondered if it might be something like that.

While we're on the subject, how about:

“All that glitters is not gold. All who wander are not lost” ~ William Shakespeare

The first part is Shakespare, right enough. The second part seems to be JRR Tolkein and is attached to his reversal of the maxim: "All that is gold does not glitter".

(Not trying to be a pain here. I just enjoy reading your quotes and sometimes these things leap out at me).

Re: "When they kick at your front door..."

Thanks I changed that one now - it's good to catch these things.

These days I try to get quotations from WikiQuote which is a pretty accurate source, but in the early days of building this website I made the mistake of trusting some of the popular quotation websites - they are all hilariously inaccurate, I think they just scrape quotations from each other and don't properly source anything.
