I just though I'd clarify what I think Shadow Thief means by this, because some people might misread it as being a kind of "Real men would use Linux instead of Windows"

If what you have runs on top of Windows or Linux or macOS or any other operating system, then your thing is by definition not an Operating System, maybe a program launcher or a productivity tool but not an OS. This might seem like nitpicking but it is important to label programs with meaningful & correct names if you want them to find an audience.
