Re: 3D Rendering in batch ? EXTREME CODING

Regarding the video in the first post, I'm 99% sure it's not rendered in realtime at all; rather it's just images that have been converted to ASCII (including ANSI color escape codes). An ANSI driver is running in the background, and the "3d" is basially just typed out with the "type" command.

My program (cmdgfx) does render 3d in realtime.

Re: 3D Rendering in batch ? EXTREME CODING

Just to add, while working with the above eternal tool (written in C) will give you all kinds of advantages (high FPS, colors, mouse support etc etc), it's not fair to say that the Batch code part of it is "EXTREME" (at least not the examples that come with the archive).

For "EXTREME" batch 3d (no external tools) I would highly recommend: dostips.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5824
