Incorrect unmount example on mountvol?

Greetings all!  big_smile

I was struggling to get mountvol working properly on Windows 7 Pro when following the example on the SS64 Mountvol page (sorry, I'm not permitted to post links by the forums system).

Here is the relevant code

Create a mount point called ss64

C:\> md ss64
C:\> mountvol ss64 \\?\Volume\{2eca078d-5cbc-43d3-aff8-7e8511f60d0e}\

Delete the mount point

C:\> mountvol \\?\Volume\{2eca078d-5cbc-43d3-aff8-7e8511f60d0e}\ /d

Mounting worked fine, but when I tried to unmount using the /d option, I received a vague error.  I'm thinking the unmount example on that page is incorrect.  When I tried it as follows, it works fine:

C:\> mountvol ss64 /d

Is it possible the example is incorrect, or perhaps only works on certain Windows versions?

Thank you! big_smile

Yes that example was wrong - thanks for letting me know, I have fixed the page now.

A couple of the switches are only available in Windows 7 and newer, so theres a note about those on the page.
