Im making a Batch OS and i want some tips on what batch programs it should run. (text-editor, calendar, notes, etc.)
Im pretty sure i have a lot of time to make the code. If you want, you can show example code. I promise i wont use it.

I would take a look at MS-DOS and see the kind of things it has, since that's the closest thing to what you're making. You definitely want a text editor and some way of showing the current date and time. Beyond that, it's up to you.
(Also, some stickler for semantics is going to come in here and point out that you're actually making a shell and not an operating system.)
