XP Enable audits via bat file

is there any way to turn on auditing for files or folders using bat script file?
so i dont have to individualy select each file to do so

Not tried it out myself, but if you do "subinacl /?" there's a switch "/audit" ... perhaps that does what you're after?

im not sure,
with that, how would i list the file names and on which events to audit.
i dont need if for every event, just certain failed events.
im really at a lost on how to use subinacl, its not very clear to me
any help?
