reset password

Hi friendz,

I'm a newbie to this linux world...

it'd be helpful if you let me know how to reset a unix user's password.
Is there any way so that i can resset a single user's password who has same id and password for a group of 10 or 20 unix machines...

Thanks in advance !!!

Re: reset password

Hello...

in linux OS... you may reset a user's password by removing the letter "x" (second field) in /etc/passwd file
