Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

I want to have one list of all the commands that a batch file has been wrapped into the executable. And these commands only work when a batch file has been converted into the executable.

For example:

%extd% /messagebox  "" "Yes, No" 4
IF %result% EQU 6 %extd% /messagebox Result Yes
IF %result% EQU 7 %extd% /messagebox Result No

Or

%extd% /messageboxcheck "" "Yes, No" 4 {5614464F-3829-4AA3-9F69-79A61E3191A3}
IF %result% EQU 6 %extd% /messagebox Result Yes
IF %result% EQU 7 %extd% /messagebox Result No

Or

%extd% /inputbox "Strlen" "Enter a string" ""

I can't searchable list of commands on any site. Who can share for me please? I only know about 20 commands about it. Thanks!

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

I feel like your question is missing about half of the words you meant to write, because right now your post is only semi-coherent. What is "the executable," and what commands are you referring to?

A quick Google search suggests you meant to put this in the VBScript section.

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

If the VBScript was so easy to do it.
The command that I mentioned above is only working with the files when i have converted the batch file into the executable file.

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

If in order to "convert the batch file into the executable file" you are using a certain Batch file compiler, then the answer to your question is given by the documentation of such compiler. There are several Batch file compilers and we are not mind readers in order to know which one you are using without further data. You are asking us about the capabilities of a program that we don't know...

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

It would probably help a great deal if you mentioned what the value of the %extd% variable.  I'm not familiar with any command taking the switches you are specifying, so I'm guessing it's a third party tool which exposes features of VBScript.  But you are going to have to give us a lot more to go on here.

cmd | *sh | Puppet | PowerShell | AutoIT3

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

Have you ever convert batch files into executable files yet? These are just the basics.
You can search for keywords as Bat To Exe Converter.
This is an example:

@echo off
if "%b2eprogramfilename%"==""  (
	echo To see any results you need to convert this file into an exe
	pause
	goto :eof
)

%extd% /browseforfile "Browse for a file" "" "All Files (*.*)|*.*"
if "%result%"=="" (exit) else (set file="%result%")
%extd% /messagebox Result %file%

What? You aren't making any sense. Besides, all that code does is quit if the variable %b2eprogramfilename% variable is not set. You can create that variable in any script, regardless of whether or not you've converted it to exe.

When I search Google for "Bat to Exe Converter," there are over a million results. I assume it's this one?

Upon further googling, yeah, it's that one.

Everything you need is in the Examples directory that came with the download.

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

Yes, I understand. But you try these commands into a BATCH file to an EXE file, and then run it, you will understand what I'm referring to.
If you have not, you will never understand about it.

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

First, you must understand how to convert a batch file into an exe file.
For example:

This code will run with both the batch file and the executable file:

@ECHO OFF
:TOP
ECHO.
SET Count=1
SET /P "X=Input filename: "
ECHO.
FOR /F "Tokens=*" %%A IN ('DIR /B *%X%*') DO CALL :SEARCH "%%A"
PAUSE > NUL
EXIT
:SEARCH
ECHO %Count%. %~1
SET /A Count+=1
GOTO :EOF

This code will only run on the executable file and have no effect when it is a batch file:

%extd% /inputbox "Strlen" "Enter a string to calculate its length" ""
if "%result%"=="" (exit) else (set string="%result%")
%extd% /strlen %string%
%extd% /messagebox Result "%result%"

Odd, it was in one of the three folders that were included with the zip file when I downloaded it from http://www.f2ko.de/en/b2e.php

Re: Extented commands from batch files wrapped into the executable files

In my opinion, the first post of this thread should be something similar to this one:

Tricksy should wrote:

I downloaded the "Bat To Exe Converter" program from this F2KO Software page and started to use its special features for batch files, like "%extd% /messagebox" or "%extd% /messageboxcheck" or "%extd% /inputbox". I would like that someone show me where I can find the complete list of special commands for this converter.

And if you would wanted to be very precise, you may add:

Tricksy should wrote:

... because I am too lazy to search this list by myself in the documentation and files that came with the download.

When you post a question in sites like this one, you must provide precise info about your problem and don't post unrelated data that just distracts and waste the time of the people that are trying to aid you. I am in fear of your next question if it will be similar to this one! sad

@ShadowThief: I admire your patience with this guy. You should undo the edit in the reply #13...

Even odder, since the official site, the CNET page, and the Softpedia page all provide the same .zip file. I recommend running a virus scan on your system just in case.
