How to find System Shortcuts

Hi guys, I found something interesting the other day on a forum that really think it would be of use to us. For instance, take the following command:

C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe sysdm.cpl,EditEnvironmentVariables

Now this is a direct shortcut to your environment variables button inside Control Panel\System\Advanced System Settings\Advanced\Environment Variables...

These shortcuts represent massive time-saving to system administrators and I was wondering if there was some way to find more like the one above. I tried to use AutoIT window spy but have not managed to get anything useful from it.

Re: How to find System Shortcuts

You can actually open C:\Windows\System32\sysdm.cpl in a text editor and find EditEnvironmentVariables in plain text on line 297 along with

DisplaySYSDMCPL
EditUserProfiles
EnableExecuteProtectionSupportW
ModifyExecuteProtectionSupportW
NoExecuteAddFileOptOutList
NoExecuteAddFileOptOutListW
NoExecuteProcessExceptionW
NoExecuteRemoveFileOptOutList
NoExecuteRemoveFileOptOutListW

Only the first two seem to do anything

Re: How to find System Shortcuts

The search term you need to find these is "run commands", and you can find a sortable list here
